I am behind. I took these pics almost two weeks ago. Sure she is 10 months old and all of these outfits still fit her, but I thought since they were all for the summer season, we would go ahead and model them so they could be returned or put away. :(
It's crazy to me to have a baby that actually fits in the size that the label says. My boys always needed bigger sizes than their age. Here G. is modeling her 9 month clothes and most of them are still too big. It makes sense though because at her 9 month well baby visit she was only 10th percentile weight (17 pounds) and 10th percentile height. Her head is apparently huge at 90th percentile! I never thought it was big, but maybe that's why this hat is a bit snug...
Her room has horrible lighting and I am a horrible photographer so bear with me. I just can't pack these outfits away without snapping a few pics! I love this little cherry blossom onesie we had on borrow from Liv. G paired it with a bow from Alice and her mama's handmedown red shoes...
How painful is this face? Honestly she wasn't really into the fashion show at first. I was surprised because she usually LOVES smiling for the camera. I think the constant wardrobe changes were getting her down...
But then the sparkle shoes came out and...
After a few though she was back into her groove of smiling and posing. She would even turn around and then smile over her shoulder at me. It was adorable. Here she is showing off a cute outfit Grandma Mary brought her this summer and some pink chucks that I bought her at a consignment sale after I found out I was having a GIRL!
This next little jumper is one of my very favorite outfits ever. She practically lived in it ALL summer long. (usually sans shoes and hair bow!) I think it was a handmedown from Alice if I'm remembering correctly...
At this point she was getting a little squirmy! :) This is a homemade original from cousin Liz for her daughter Hazel. G got it after Hazel got to big for it. It is so cute! G added her pink chucks and a fun little orange hairclip as a brooch for a pop of color. :)
And after squirmy came fussy. I still had a floor full of outfits, so I was scrambling. This is one of my very favorites. It was a borrow from Liv and G only wore it a couple of times...church and woody guthrie festival are what I remember. I love it so...
But then, G was done. And I mean really done. Nothing her brothers or I did could soothe her or make her crack a smile. This was the last one I got before I just caved in and pulled out my boob.
So, my sweet little tiny girl. You sure do have style, beauty, AND a powerful personality!!!
